"This is a beautiful spot to walk and check out while in Destin. We weren't there for more than 5 mins before we had a lady asking if we wanted more information on the area, I thought she was going to just give me a map or something but it turned into a whole sales pitch about how she could get me a free dolphin tour and 250 dollars worth of boardwalk bucks if we sat through a one and a half hour seminar. I thought it was going to be a tour and information about the hotel and but its actually an intense sales pitch about buying a time share. Needless to say we dipped out on that situation. Other than that it was a beautiful spot to check out, everything is over priced and it is a very touristy area. We all enjoyed the experience and took some great pictures."

"Not particularly impressed. We spent about 30 minutes here a few days before Christmas and found most venues closed. While there are some interesting spots for pictures with the holiday lights, there wasn't much to actually do. On the positive side, parking was free and available"
